With an all-out effort, Gediz's Hacı Ali Gaza threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arif Çelebi Akasoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gediz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alphan Hıfzullah in the 8th minute. Gediz's Alphan Hıfzullah was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hacı Ali Gaza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th match minute, Gediz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behiç Sebih to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Özer Arkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hacı Ali Gaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Gediz's Özer Arkan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 32 minutes, Serbülent Yafes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gediz and the Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS booed when Gediz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serbülent Yafes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gediz's zone, Andaç Birsan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Koralp Resulhan came out of the goal and Andaç Birsan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Koralp Resulhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andaç Birsan in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS's goalkeeper Hacı Ali Gaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korcan Sadik. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korcan Sadik got free with Hacı Ali Gaza in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gediz's Özer Arkan got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Çelebi Akasoy kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS booed when Gediz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baha Keçecioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özer Arkan was the one to do the kick off. Gediz's Serbülent Yafes got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hacı Ali Gaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korcan Sadik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS defense, Özer Arkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hacı Ali Gaza. The Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hacı Ali Gaza should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamer Canfer to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Alphan Hıfzullah sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS's Hacı Ali Gaza didn't even have to move. Hacı Ali Gaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korcan Sadik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andaç Birsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match Gazi Tokur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Koralp Resulhan skillfully saved the ball. Gediz's Korcan Sadik got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Özer Arkan came free, but Hacı Ali Gaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ç.M.B Okan ELMAS's Andaç Birsan managed to work through Gediz's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Andaç Birsan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 86 minutes into the game, Korcan Sadik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hacı Ali Gaza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Karhan Sidam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Koralp Resulhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Gediz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
