To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nihat Sonay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harun Özdağ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doğa Gök's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Karakocan's Nihat Sonay got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karakocan's Emirhan Ekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poyraz Melik in the 14th minute of play. Doğan Okdemir hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Poyraz Melik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emirhan Ekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nihat Sonay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BURG FKW's Harun Özdağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karakocan's Emirhan Ekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Başdaş in the 25th minute of play. Nihat Sonay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Doğa Gök got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the BURG FKW defense, Nihat Sonay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harun Özdağ. The BURG FKW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harun Özdağ should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nihat Sonay was the one to do the kick off. Emirhan Ekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poyraz Melik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nihat Sonay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nihat Sonay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The attack was good, but when Nihat Sonay in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 63rd minute, Doğa Gök got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Karakocan's Nihat Sonay in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BURG FKW's goalie prevented a goal. When Nihat Sonay, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Harun Özdağ was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nihat Sonay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Reşit Aşkıner got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Karakocan's Seyhan Baysal was substituted for Doğan Okdemir. In the 77th minute, one of BURG FKW:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BURG FKW. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Karakocan. Nihat Sonay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harun Özdağ. 0-2. Harun Özdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nihat Sonay in the 85th minute of the match. Abayhan Hanecioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abayhan Hanecioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karakocan getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Abayhan Hanecioğlu hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğa Gök to maneuver through the defense. Karakocan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
