Fırat Pektürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ahmet Koralp Resulhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Recep Talha Ökmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özer Arkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Korcan Sadik came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Gediz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korcan Sadik couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gediz booed when Uzundere JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Şefik Oral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Utkan Uran hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Fırat Pektürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uzundere JK's Ali Çağrı Akata got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Gediz's Ahmet Koralp Resulhan got control of the ball when Saruhan Alkım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fırat Pektürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ahmet Koralp Resulhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Gediz got a freekick which was hit by Alphan Hıfzullah. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Korcan Sadik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Ökmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korcan Sadik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Talha Ökmen having to interfere. Recep Talha Ökmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Arkan in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özer Arkan made a kick off. Recep Talha Ökmen was a little too slow when Özer Arkan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. If Saruhan Alkım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korcan Sadik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Recep Talha Ökmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Uzundere JK got a freekick which was hit by Andaç Tahsin. Gediz's Korcan Sadik came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Recep Talha Ökmen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Alphan Hıfzullah kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Kudret Benlioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Gediz's goal looked a bit too open when Fırat Pektürk came free, but Ahmet Koralp Resulhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Recep Talha Ökmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Korcan Sadik in the 94th minute. Saruhan Alkım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ahmet Koralp Resulhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gediz players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Uzundere JK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
