Bora Ushan started the match with the kick off. Paşa Ali Semdin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Karadeniz Bayman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yakakent SK's Aytuğ Emektar. Aytuğ Emektar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canakkale's Enver Topuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolunay Batıkan in the 10th minute of play. Hüsrev Dilsaz came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enver Topuz could save by the left post. Tolunay Batıkan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Yakakent SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Yakakent SK's Hüsrev Dilsaz got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, Yakakent SK's Hüsrev Dilsaz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enver Topuz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Canakkale's goalkeeper Enver Topuz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüsrev Dilsaz. Enver Topuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolunay Batıkan in the 41st minute of the match. Tolunay Batıkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enver Topuz having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Tolunay Batıkan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enver Topuz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tolunay Batıkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Enver Topuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşref Sarphan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolunay Batıkan in the 56th minute of play forced Canakkale's goalkeeper Enver Topuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aytuğ Emektar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karadeniz Bayman in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karadeniz Bayman during the 61st minute. Yakakent SK's Aytuğ Emektar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Yakakent SK from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Yakakent SK got a freekick which was hit by Numan Bektaş. İlbey Ramazan's late challenge caught a Canakkale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
