Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolunay Batıkan in the 10th minute of play forced Esenler's goalkeeper Gökberk Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selami Nihat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aytuğ Emektar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semail Şahinkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aytuğ Emektar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Semail Şahinkan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 15 played minutes Yakakent SK got a freekick which was hit by Eşref Sarphan. Esenler's Gökberk Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsrev Dilsaz in the 18th minute of play. Gökberk Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolunay Batıkan in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Esenler getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Barış Çakman hit a great ball. Hüsrev Dilsaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göktan Temizsan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Tolunay Batıkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yakakent SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolunay Batıkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökberk Rami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolunay Batıkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hüsrev Dilsaz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gökberk Rami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yakakent SK. Semail Şahinkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytuğ Emektar having to interfere. Hüsrev Dilsaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Tolunay Batıkan made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Selami Nihat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytuğ Emektar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cengizhan Öztimur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Semail Şahinkan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aytuğ Emektar having to make a save. The Yakakent SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
