The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Real Turco's goalkeeper Günalp İlkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüsrev Dilsaz. A collision led to Real Turco getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Hacı Biçimli hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Orbay Koçhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytuğ Emektar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Real Turco's Nuralp Akboğa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aytuğ Emektar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, İlbey Ramazan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Turco's Günalp İlkan didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orbay Koçhan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aytuğ Emektar saved Yakakent SK from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Eşref Sarphan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21stth minute of the game Orbay Koçhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yakakent SK's Aytuğ Emektar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orbay Koçhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Numan Bektaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Orbay Koçhan made a precise shot to the right of Aytuğ Emektar. Yakakent SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Nuralp Akboğa put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aytuğ Emektar. After a defensive mix-up in Yakakent SK's zone, Nuralp Akboğa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytuğ Emektar came out of the goal and Nuralp Akboğa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolunay Batıkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Yakakent SK booed when Real Turco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hacı Biçimli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aytuğ Emektar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuralp Akboğa in the 62nd minute of the match. Yakakent SK's Aytuğ Emektar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orbay Koçhan in the 86th minute of play. Hacı Biçimli might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aytuğ Emektar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hacı Biçimli ran back to his position shaking his head. Aytuğ Emektar made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Orbay Koçhan sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes, Numan Bektaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yakakent SK and the Real Turco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Yakakent SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Numan Bektaş to maneuver through the defense. If Hüsrev Dilsaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aytuğ Emektar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agah Gürler in the 95th minute of play. The Real Turco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Turco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
