Yıldıray Ergunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zula FC booed when Kastamonuspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa İzzet Sakman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şinasi Durna stood somewhat misplaced when Mehdi Karun came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 39 minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Ayhan Muzaffer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şinasi Durna skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Oğuzalp Cevan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kastamonuspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuzalp Cevan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şinasi Durna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şinasi Durna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Karun in the 47th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mehdi Karun made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Oğuzalp Cevan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şinasi Durna was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Kastamonuspor's goal looked a bit too open when Yıldıray Ergunalp came free, but Tuna Mengübay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şinasi Durna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Zula FC's Şinasi Durna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Karun in the 95th minute of play. If Oğuzalp Cevan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kastamonuspor had played much better football throughout.
