If Merih Mutluay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Karamadrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altay Oktar to maneuver through the defense. Nadir Yaver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enis Yalavaç in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Derinkuyu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Agah Tanyolaç came free, but Korkut Sefir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Agah Tanyolaç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karamadrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agah Tanyolaç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Karamadrid got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nejat Özaltın. Nadir Yaver made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Seyhan Ulum sent off a good shot on target. Enis Yalavaç spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Karamadrid's goal. Seyhan Ulum's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Nadir Yaver skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nadir Yaver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Yalavaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enis Yalavaç in the 43rd minute of play forced Karamadrid's goalkeeper Nadir Yaver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Ertaç Yalaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamadrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derinkuyu SK the free kick. Ertaç Yalaz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertaç Yalaz to make the kick off. If Kerem Ispartalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seyhan Ulum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nadir Yaver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Derinkuyu SK booed when Karamadrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Onur Hicab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korkut Sefir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertaç Yalaz in the 72nd minute of play. Korkut Sefir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Agah Tanyolaç. In the 78th minute, Ertaç Yalaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Hakkı Onur Hicab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamadrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derinkuyu SK the free kick. When Kerem Ispartalı came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Derinkuyu SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerem Ispartalı couldn't finish the play. Derinkuyu SK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
