The supporters of Çakırdoğanlar Spor booed when Yıldırım Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Ali Sarduç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yetkiner Çapan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Çakırdoğanlar Spor getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Selmi Keykavus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ünal Azimoğlu in the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Ünal Azimoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmi Keykavus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ünal Azimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Selmi Keykavus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müjdat Canaydin in the 89th minute of play. Ünal Azimoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmi Keykavus having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Özcan Canpolat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Çakırdoğanlar Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yıldırım Spor the free kick. In the 95th minute Ünal Azimoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmi Keykavus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Yıldırım Spor were the better team. Yıldırım Spor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
