Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cafer Beycan kicked off to start the match. Elaziğ's Taci Bekiroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match, Müjdat Canaydin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Garip Helvacı was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Garip Helvacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ünal Azimoğlu in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ünal Azimoğlu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Garip Helvacı to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 14 minutes, Cafer Beycan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elaziğ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafer Beycan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taci Bekiroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dilmen Kayıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafer Beycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onur Ali Sarduç's late challenge caught a Elaziğ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onur Ali Sarduç helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yıldırım Spor getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Onur Ali Sarduç hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Sabahattin Hüdayioğlu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Elaziğ's Garip Helvacı. Garip Helvacı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cafer Beycan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafer Beycan in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dilmen Kayıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 played minutes Yıldırım Spor got a freekick which was hit by Sabahattin Hüdayioğlu. Cafer Beycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dilmen Kayıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Varol Tarancı fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yıldırım Spor's protests and gave Varol Tarancı a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yıldırım Spor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Garip Helvacı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ünal Azimoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 52 minutes, Müjdat Canaydin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yıldırım Spor and the Elaziğ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Müjdat Canaydin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Ünal Azimoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garip Helvacı. Elaziğ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ünal Azimoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Garip Helvacı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabahattin Hüdayioğlu in the 63rd minute of the match. Ünal Azimoğlu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cafer Beycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafer Beycan in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dilmen Kayıhan saved Yıldırım Spor from getting behind. Dilmen Kayıhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafer Beycan in the 72nd minute. Garip Helvacı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ünal Azimoğlu in the 75th minute of the match. Melik Çağnur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Yıldırım Spor booed when Elaziğ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hakan Kazım didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Ünal Azimoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garip Helvacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taci Bekiroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Cafer Beycan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dilmen Kayıhan. Cafer Beycan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Taci Bekiroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dilmen Kayıhan having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Yıldırım Spor could leave the field as winners, despite Elaziğ having more of the ball for most of the match.
