Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafer Beycan in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Turan Okatay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Taci Bekiroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elaziğ's supporters rose to their feet, but Taci Bekiroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for mithatyilmaz! Ahmet Turan Okatay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafer Beycan in the 38th minute. If Taci Bekiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the mithatyilmaz defense, Cafer Beycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Turan Okatay. The mithatyilmaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Turan Okatay should have stopped the shot. Cafer Beycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cafer Beycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ahmet Turan Okatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elaziğ's Cafer Beycan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in mithatyilmaz's zone, Cafer Beycan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Turan Okatay came out of the goal and Cafer Beycan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The mithatyilmaz players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Elaziğ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
