Utku Refiğ made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mehmet Edip Ergazi sent off a good shot on target. Bilge Kağan Hekimbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cevher Durcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serik's Sezgin Özdal pulled a muscle in his leg after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bogazliyan's Utku Refiğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Bogazliyan from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Edip Ergazi scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Utku Refiğ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cihat Tümer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cevher Durcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bogazliyan's Cahit Sidam got a free kick in the 38th minute. Mevlüt Babacan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Utku Refiğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Mehmet Edip Ergazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Cahit Sidam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Edip Ergazi was the one to do the kick off. If Mehmet Edip Ergazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevher Durcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat Tümer in the 63rd minute of the match. Mehmet Edip Ergazi struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Utku Refiğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serik. Bilge Kağan Hekimbaşı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Serik's zone, Bilge Kağan Hekimbaşı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevher Durcan came out of the goal and Bilge Kağan Hekimbaşı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes of play, Serik's Mehmet Edip Ergazi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Utku Refiğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cihat Tümer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevher Durcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cahit Sidam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Erkut Ozan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bogazliyan's Utku Refiğ. Utku Refiğ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erkut Ozan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cihat Tümer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Bogazliyan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Serik could leave the field as winners, despite Bogazliyan having more of the ball for most of the match.
