The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute of the match Tugay Korcan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şamil Ilıcak skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Şıkır Team booed when Bahcelievler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Furkan Erbaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bahcelievler's Giray Betik got control of the ball when Gazanfer Özcan Serimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gazanfer Özcan Serimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giray Betik having to interfere. When Furkan Erbaş fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahcelievler's protests and gave Furkan Erbaş a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Bahcelievler got a freekick which was hit by Furkan Erbaş. Gazanfer Özcan Serimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giray Betik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Şamil Ilıcak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Selçuk Hallaç went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Şamil Ilıcak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turan Yahya, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Yağızalp Üçok hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Kadri Kutlubay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Selçuk Hallaç came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bahcelievler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selçuk Hallaç couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turan Yahya got free with Şamil Ilıcak in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Hıncal Kökten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Şıkır Team's Şamil Ilıcak did a great save. When Selçuk Hallaç came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Bahcelievler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selçuk Hallaç couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Bahcelievler's Turan Yahya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şamil Ilıcak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Ahmet Kadri Kutlubay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Kadri Kutlubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Giray Betik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Şıkır Team's Yağızalp Üçok got a free kick in the 75th minute. Şamil Ilıcak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selçuk Hallaç's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Turan Yahya in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Şamil Ilıcak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Selçuk Hallaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şamil Ilıcak was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Selçuk Hallaç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Selçuk Hallaç really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Eray Ünaldi's late challenge caught a Şıkır Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eray Ünaldi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Eray Ünaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selçuk Hallaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selçuk Hallaç in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şamil Ilıcak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turan Yahya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Şamil Ilıcak made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turan Yahya got free with Şamil Ilıcak in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Bahcelievler could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Şıkır Team throughout the match.
