In the 59th minute Şaban Borlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necat Oksay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Resul Kabak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necat Oksay having to interfere. Mümin Timurhan was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Çağatay Yamaç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Çağatay Yamaç really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When Zühtü Pekant came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the cobbaN FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zühtü Pekant couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Çağatay Yamaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
