Harun Başol was slow to take the kick. During this time Pinarbasi JK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ahmet Seyfi Gümüşcüoğlu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karapürcek's Suat Eker did a great save. With a little luck, Pinarbasi JK's İsa Ruhittin got control of the ball when Alpertunga Coşkuner tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Pinarbasi JK's goalkeeper İsa Ruhittin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alpertunga Coşkuner. Suat Eker came out of the goal and Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Karapürcek defense, Fazıl Hüsnü Uraltan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suat Eker. The Karapürcek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suat Eker should have stopped the shot. The Karapürcek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pinarbasi JK were winning 0-1.

İsmail Orhun Önder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Karapürcek's Recep Bilgetay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsa Ruhittin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
