After a defensive mix-up in Gürpinar's zone, Kılıçalp İmren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muammer Erez came out of the goal and Kılıçalp İmren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corum's Görkem Bilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Namık Nasuh in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gürpinar's Özen Serhan got a free kick in the 15th minute. Corum were furious when Rahmi Nevruz was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 19 minutes into the game, one of Corum:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Gürpinar's Erbatur Sena got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Görkem Bilge. Görkem Bilge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orkun Hataylı, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Kılıçalp İmren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Corum defense, Orkun Hataylı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Görkem Bilge. The Corum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Görkem Bilge should have stopped the shot. Orkun Hataylı took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Görkem Bilge. Görkem Bilge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Bican in the 99th minute of play forced Corum's goalkeeper Görkem Bilge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürpinar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
