In the 22nd minute of the match Fuat Fırıncı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuratay Baytüzün skillfully saved the ball. Güroymak's Hidayet Tugal got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ JK's goal looked a bit too open when Numan Adar came free, but Nuratay Baytüzün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Numan Adar in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuratay Baytüzün saved BEŞİKTAŞ JK from getting behind. Numan Adar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Harun Oğuztan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Köksal Taşkınay having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Harun Oğuztan to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to BEŞİKTAŞ JK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Peyami Özilhan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hidayet Tugal in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuratay Baytüzün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hidayet Tugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuratay Baytüzün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Numan Adar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
