Hüsnü Türkmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağız İdris having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Cuma Ogansoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yağız İdris. ADABÜKSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cuma Ogansoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cuma Ogansoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yağız İdris having to make a save. Muharrem Eldem hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Cuma Ogansoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yağız İdris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsnü Türkmen in the 26th minute of play forced ADABÜKSPOR's goalkeeper Yağız İdris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yasin Yenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Ethem Başhekim in the 28th minute of the match. If Hüsnü Türkmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Muharrem Eldem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADABÜKSPOR and the GALATASARAY SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Muharrem Eldem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Aydın Ayvazoğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yağız İdris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yüce Kainat during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GALATASARAY SK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Yüce Kainat hit a great ball. With a little luck, GALATASARAY SK's Yasin Yenal got control of the ball when Müfit Vecih tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cuma Ogansoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GALATASARAY SK's Yıldırım Vefalı suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. During the 44th minute of the match Muharrem Eldem completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Muharrem Eldem a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cuma Ogansoy to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, ADABÜKSPOR's goalkeeper Yağız İdris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cuma Ogansoy. Cuma Ogansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yağız İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orbay Başay charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orbay Başay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Yasin Yenal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Müfit Vecih managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADABÜKSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Müfit Vecih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasin Yenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yasin Yenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit Vecih in the 71st minute of the match. If Cuma Ogansoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ADABÜKSPOR's zone, Cuma Ogansoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağız İdris came out of the goal and Cuma Ogansoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müfit Vecih in the 93rd minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Yasin Yenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The GALATASARAY SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GALATASARAY SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
