Spectators: 6350 (Terracing: 4800, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kadir Saykal started the match with the kick off. Hakkı Deniz Alkım charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Deniz Alkım the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Arac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Alkım to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Osman Talaş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gencalp Sözen skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Arac getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ahmet Kağan İlham hit a great ball. Kadir Saykal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Gazi Karluk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Taci Elmastaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Taci Elmastaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arac's supporters rose to their feet, but Taci Elmastaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazi Karluk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Kadir Saykal lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gazi Karluk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekber Uçkan in the 27th minute of play forced Arac's goalkeeper Gencalp Sözen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekber Uçkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gazi Karluk made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Kadir Saykal sent off a good shot on target. Gazi Karluk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kadir Saykal's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Kadir Saykal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Abay Tanzer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gencalp Sözen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A hard shot 48 in the game by Kadir Saykal from a close distance when the talented Gazi Karluk managed to make a qualified save. Elbeyli JK's players were relieved. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekber Uçkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Arac's Gencalp Sözen got control of the ball when Kenan Avcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gencalp Sözen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Uçkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Enis Cezlan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Arac's Gencalp Sözen. Gencalp Sözen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ekber Uçkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Arac's Muammer Çalımbay got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Kadir Saykal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gazi Karluk having to make a save. Taci Elmastaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekber Uçkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Taci Elmastaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arac's Kadir Saykal in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elbeyli JK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute, Kadir Saykal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gazi Karluk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With his leg Gencalp Sözen managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Elbeyli JK's Kenan Avcu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Kenan Avcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
