VANSPOR's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Refik Halit Demircioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Geçimoğlu in the 25th minute of play forced VANSPOR's goalkeeper İlhan Sidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakut Öge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhan Sidam having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Burgazada FK's goalkeeper Affan Nurbaki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Refik Halit Demircioğlu. Affan Nurbaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafettin Özveri in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Rafettin Özveri made the kick off in the second half. Affan Nurbaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafettin Özveri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VANSPOR reached it. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Sakut Öge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Burgazada FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VANSPOR.
