In the 11th minute Anıl Berk Demirezen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Münir Ecemiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sakaryaspor's Beşir Yerel in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dörtyol SK's goalie prevented a goal. If Anıl Berk Demirezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Resulhan Çağan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Dörtyol SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Resulhan Çağan couldn't finish the play. Anıl Berk Demirezen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beşir Yerel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Münir Ecemiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Orhun Dahi, was totally fooled by Dörtyol SK's Gürsel Dilhun, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Dörtyol SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sakaryaspor were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Savaş Kudsi to make the kick off. Orhun Dahi came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Dörtyol SK's Savaş Kudsi. But to his dismay, Savaş Kudsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Beşir Yerel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Resulhan Çağan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Orhun Dahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dörtyol SK's Resulhan Çağan got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ekber Satır kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Savaş Kudsi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Dörtyol SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savaş Kudsi couldn't finish the play.
