Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Özgün Akduman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Okanay Denizer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Vehdi Ecemiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Tacik having to interfere. Özgün Akduman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kudret Tacik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gürkan Şenol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Tacik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Cahit Ankara in the 19th minute of play forced Düzce FK's goalkeeper Başaran Şentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kudret Tacik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Akduman in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürkan Şenol in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kudret Tacik saved Konyaspor from getting behind. In the 26thth minute of the game Özgün Akduman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Konyaspor's Kudret Tacik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Bünyamin Özoğuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konyaspor's Hüseyin Cahit Ankara got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Özalp Refik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Düzce FK's zone, Hüseyin Cahit Ankara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Başaran Şentürk came out of the goal and Hüseyin Cahit Ankara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, Düzce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bünyamin Özoğuz to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Düzce FK got a freekick which was hit by Olcay Kutel. After a rather tough play, Düzce FK's Vehdi Ecemiş got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Ahmet Hayri Durali sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Başaran Şentürk threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ahmet Hayri Durali this time. In the 45th minute Özgün Akduman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kudret Tacik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Gökcan Şehzade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Konyaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Düzce FK the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüseyin Cahit Ankara to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Düzce FK's zone, Özalp Refik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Başaran Şentürk came out of the goal and Özalp Refik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Hüseyin Cahit Ankara made a precise shot to the right of Başaran Şentürk. Düzce FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 58 minutes into the match, Konyaspor's goalkeeper Kudret Tacik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gürkan Şenol. Hüseyin Cahit Ankara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Konyaspor getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Çetin Tongal hit a great ball. Hüseyin Cahit Ankara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Başaran Şentürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Düzce FK's Özgün Akduman got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergen Midilli's late challenge caught a Konyaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergen Midilli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Düzce FK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sergen Midilli hit a great ball. Başaran Şentürk came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Konyaspor's Özalp Refik. But to his dismay, Özalp Refik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Hüseyin Cahit Ankara came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Konyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Cahit Ankara couldn't finish the play.
