In the 11th minute, Cafer Yetiş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Oncubay in the 14th minute of play. When Hakkı Devrim Nusrettin fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yedisu's protests and gave Hakkı Devrim Nusrettin a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Hakan Uğurcan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Necmi Kasım's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bora Bilgetay was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Hasan Oncubay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay. Bora Bilgetay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, DUKe Fc's Ahmet Bedri Kayansel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bora Bilgetay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ali Behzat Şerhenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Uğurcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bora Bilgetay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Oncubay in the 31st minute of play. In the 39th minute, Hakkı Devrim Nusrettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Oncubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bora Bilgetay having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Hakan Uğurcan was the one to do the kick off. Bora Bilgetay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Oncubay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kubat Ercan got free with Bora Bilgetay in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ahmet Bedri Kayansel took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Bora Bilgetay to make any attempt to save it. Hakkı Devrim Nusrettin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hasan Oncubay managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUKe Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Oncubay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bora Bilgetay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Yedisu's goal looked a bit too open when Necmi Kasım came free, but Bora Bilgetay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Oncubay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bora Bilgetay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necmi Kasım in the 69th minute of play. Hasan Oncubay scored 0-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bora Bilgetay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay got control of the ball when Necmi Kasım tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Hasan Oncubay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hasan Can Ozaner hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hasan Oncubay managed to get in a good position for a shot.
