With his leg Bora Bilgetay managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Akhisar's Ali Faruk Ula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute of the match, Hasan Cansefa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bora Bilgetay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
