Gürkan Şenol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bora Bilgetay having to interfere. In the 4th minute of the match, Özgün Akduman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bora Bilgetay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yedisu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Özgün Akduman 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Bora Bilgetay made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gürkan Şenol sent off a good shot on target. When Kuddusî Orak fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yedisu's protests and gave Kuddusî Orak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Düzce FK booed when Yedisu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuddusî Orak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Özgün Akduman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgün Akduman in the 16th minute of play. Hasan Can Yiğit, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özgün Akduman in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bora Bilgetay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gürkan Şenol scored 3-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bora Bilgetay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute of the match Bünyamin Özoğuz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bora Bilgetay skillfully saved the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Düzce FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hakan Uğurcan came free, but Başaran Şentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özgün Akduman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gürkan Şenol hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ahmet Hakan Uğurcan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Başaran Şentürk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Özgün Akduman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Gürkan Şenol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Özgün Akduman notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay. Bora Bilgetay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Özgün Akduman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Düzce FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgün Akduman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bora Bilgetay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürkan Şenol in the 69th minute of play. When Düzce FK's Gürkan Şenol in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yedisu's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürkan Şenol in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bora Bilgetay saved Yedisu from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Yedisu's Oğuzalp Tümkut seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oğuzalp Tümkut the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yedisu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oğuzalp Tümkut had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 79 played minutes Yedisu got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzalp Tümkut. In the 80th minute, Bünyamin Özoğuz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürkan Şenol in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bora Bilgetay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bora Bilgetay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgün Akduman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gürkan Şenol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bora Bilgetay having to interfere. Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürkan Şenol in the 90th minute of play. Bora Bilgetay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgün Akduman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Düzce FK booed when Yedisu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şevket Uzbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Düzce FK had played much better football throughout.
