Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hasan Oncubay took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, DUKe Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çeliker Poyraz to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Oncubay might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Başaran Şentürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hasan Oncubay ran back to his position shaking his head. Düzce FK's Başaran Şentürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmi Kasım in the 11th minute of play. Hasan Oncubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Şentürk having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Düzce FK's zone, Necmi Kasım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Başaran Şentürk came out of the goal and Necmi Kasım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Okanay Denizer fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Düzce FK's protests and gave Okanay Denizer a yellow card for diving instead. DUKe Fc's Hasan Oncubay got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Hasan Oncubay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DUKe Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Oncubay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hasan Oncubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Başaran Şentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürkan Şenol got free with Ali Behzat Şerhenk in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Düzce FK's Özgün Akduman got a free kick in the 27th minute. Necmi Kasım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Oncubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Şentürk having to interfere. If Necmi Kasım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürkan Şenol kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 40thth minute. Though ot was a great shot DUKe Fc's keeper Ali Behzat Şerhenk was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The supporters of Düzce FK booed when DUKe Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Bedri Kayansel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasan Oncubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Şentürk having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgün Akduman to strike the kick off in the second half. Necmi Kasım blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Başaran Şentürk having to make a save. The referee gave Düzce FK a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bünyamin Özoğuz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DUKe Fc's Ali Behzat Şerhenk. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özgün Akduman in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Behzat Şerhenk saved DUKe Fc from getting behind. Hasan Oncubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Başaran Şentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Başaran Şentürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Necmi Kasım's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Başaran Şentürk was a little too slow when Hasan Oncubay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 86 played minutes Düzce FK got a freekick which was hit by Vehdi Ecemiş. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgün Akduman in the 88th minute of play forced DUKe Fc's goalkeeper Ali Behzat Şerhenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Oncubay struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Başaran Şentürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DUKe Fc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgün Akduman in the 91st minute of play forced DUKe Fc's goalkeeper Ali Behzat Şerhenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Oncubay in the 92nd minute of play forced Düzce FK's goalkeeper Başaran Şentürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Oncubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Başaran Şentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, DUKe Fc failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
