Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atalay Özbal kicked off to start the match. Hüseyin Cahit Ankara struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Zikri Aktemur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konyaspor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atalay Özbal in the 8th minute of play forced Konyaspor's goalkeeper Kudret Tacik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hazım Mehdi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Altinyayla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hazım Mehdi couldn't finish the play. Hazım Mehdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hazım Mehdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atalay Özbal in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kudret Tacik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Altinyayla booed when Konyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davut Başesgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Altinyayla's Zikri Aktemur got control of the ball when Özalp Refik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hüseyin Cahit Ankara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hüseyin Cahit Ankara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zikri Aktemur came out and tried to block the shot, but Hüseyin Cahit Ankara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. With his leg Zikri Aktemur managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Konyaspor's Özalp Refik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Zikri Aktemur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüseyin Cahit Ankara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Özalp Refik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Altinyayla's zone, Hüseyin Cahit Ankara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zikri Aktemur came out of the goal and Hüseyin Cahit Ankara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Altinyayla getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Mümin Kamaci hit a great ball. When Hüseyin Cahit Ankara came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Konyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Cahit Ankara couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Ahmet Hayri Durali sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Altinyayla's Zikri Aktemur didn't even have to move. Konyaspor's Hüseyin Cahit Ankara got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zikri Aktemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Ankara in the 81st minute of play. Hüseyin Cahit Ankara took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zikri Aktemur. Zikri Aktemur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Zikri Aktemur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Ankara, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Özalp Refik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özalp Refik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Hüseyin Cahit Ankara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zikri Aktemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zikri Aktemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Ankara in the 96th minute of play. Özalp Refik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Konyaspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altinyayla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
