The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of ŞimşekSpor FK booed when DUKe Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necmi Kasım didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ŞimşekSpor FK's Abayhan Özdoru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Behzat Şerhenk. That made the score 2-1 after 40 minutes of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Necmi Kasım who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŞimşekSpor FK's Enes Dilsaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hayati Özan made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ŞimşekSpor FK's Enes Dilsaz got control of the ball when Necmi Kasım tried to sneak it across the goal line. DUKe Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Necmi Kasım was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enes Dilsaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 minutes, Abayhan Özdoru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ŞimşekSpor FK and the DUKe Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card.
