The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes ŞimşekSpor FK got a freekick which was hit by Ata Demirtaş. Enes Dilsaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Cansefa in the 5th minute of play. Enes Dilsaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Cansefa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Akhisar's Egemen Kaan got control of the ball when Ata Demirtaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Cansefa in the 17th minute of play forced ŞimşekSpor FK's goalkeeper Enes Dilsaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abayhan Özdoru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Egemen Kaan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Tevfik Kumukbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ŞimşekSpor FK and the Akhisar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasan Cansefa to make the kick off. A collision led to Akhisar getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kuzey Tunçbilek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Akhisar's Cavit Eröz got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Abayhan Özdoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Tevfik Kumukbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abayhan Özdoru in the 70th minute of play forced Akhisar's goalkeeper Egemen Kaan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hayati Özan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Ali Galip Oğuzbala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Kaan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Galip Oğuzbala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egemen Kaan having to make a save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Asım Arif Önel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akhisar's Egemen Kaan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ŞimşekSpor FK's Tevfik Kumukbay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Egemen Kaan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle went the supporters of Akhisar were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant ŞimşekSpor FK side.
