Hayati Özan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bora Bilgetay having to make a save. Yedisu's Bora Bilgetay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Yedisu from getting a goal against them. Bora Bilgetay was a little too slow when Hayati Özan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-1. Tevfik Kumukbay's late challenge caught a Yedisu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
