In the 9th minute Hamdi İlsev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulbaki Orkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Mustafa Oğuz Adal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koray Sezgi in the 14th minute of play forced EGO FC's goalkeeper Aşır İçten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Yesilköy got a freekick which was hit by Lokman Sidar. After 19 played minutes Yesilköy got a freekick which was hit by Cumhur Sözmen. Yesilköy's Koray Sezgi got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aşır İçten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Oğuz Adal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mustafa Oğuz Adal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aşır İçten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Oğuz Adal scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aşır İçten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tunç Hatipoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulbaki Orkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Tunç Hatipoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdi İlsev in the 48th minute of play forced Yesilköy's goalkeeper Abdulbaki Orkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamdi İlsev made a kick off. Yesilköy's Koray Sezgi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Mustafa Oğuz Adal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EGO FC's Aşır İçten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koray Sezgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşır İçten having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Mustafa Oğuz Adal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yesilköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Oğuz Adal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aşır İçten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Oğuz Adal in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in EGO FC's zone, Koray Sezgi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşır İçten came out of the goal and Koray Sezgi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yesilköy's goalkeeper Abdulbaki Orkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Yesilköy got a freekick which was hit by Hidayet Vechi. After having played for 80 minutes, Mustafa Oğuz Adal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yesilköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Oğuz Adal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Mustafa Oğuz Adal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aşır İçten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Oğuz Adal went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Hamdi İlsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yesilköy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
