An unexpectedly hard shot by Savaşer Yaybüke in the 7th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Abel Serpa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necip Özyuva scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ertuğrul Serdaroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ertuğrul Serdaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nejat Buğra, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ali Nejat Buğra sped through Selamicesme's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ertuğrul Serdaroğlu. Nuri Mutlu's late challenge caught a Selamicesme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuri Mutlu helped the player get up and apologised. Nuri Mutlu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Fenerbahçe SK's Necip Özyuva got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Necip Özyuva struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Necip Özyuva notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Selamicesme's Ertuğrul Serdaroğlu. Ertuğrul Serdaroğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ertuğrul Serdaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nejat Buğra in the 93rd minute of play. Necip Özyuva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Fenerbahçe SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
