An unexpectedly hard shot by Birant Danış in the 4th minute of play forced Yozgat66FC's goalkeeper Semih Günsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Semih Günsel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kutluay Pekdemir in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Birant Danış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semih Günsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semih Günsel made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Kutluay Pekdemir sent off a good shot on target. Ateş Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziya Yağıztekin in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Şükrü Aksoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Semih Günsel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Semih Günsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birant Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Kutluay Pekdemir made a precise shot to the right of Semih Günsel. Yozgat66FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Hüsnü Özakay kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birant Danış in the 28th minute of play forced Yozgat66FC's goalkeeper Semih Günsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dursun Ali Dilhun in the 29th minute of play forced Akcakent's goalkeeper Ateş Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Yozgat66FC's Semih Günsel got control of the ball when Kutluay Pekdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ateş Baysan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dursun Ali Dilhun went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kutluay Pekdemir made a kick off. The supporters of Akcakent booed when Yozgat66FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behiç Gültekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birant Danış took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Semih Günsel. Semih Günsel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 57 played minutes Yozgat66FC got a freekick which was hit by Hüsnü Özakay. Akcakent's Birant Danış got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ünal Eslem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Dursun Ali Dilhun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Semih Günsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Danış in the 69th minute of play. Dursun Ali Dilhun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ateş Baysan having to interfere. Boğaçhan Avşaroğlu made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ünal Eslem immediately put the ball in play. Akcakent's defense could not quite keep up when Ünal Eslem in the 77th minute got ready and shot a well placed long shot on target. It was only the outstanding action taken by the goalkeeper Ateş Baysan that stopped the ball from going in by the upper left corner. In the 82nd match minute, Yozgat66FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsnü Özakay to maneuver through the defense. Semih Günsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutluay Pekdemir in the 88th minute of play. When Ziya Yağıztekin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Yozgat66FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziya Yağıztekin couldn't finish the play.
