Akay Çetinoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erhun Okseven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akay Çetinoz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34thth minute of the game Egemen Okboğa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çorum gençlik spor's Erhun Okseven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Egemen Okboğa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erhun Okseven was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Sabuncupınar SK's Tuna Togay got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ersin Cengaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Olcay Orkun Bekiroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Egemen Okboğa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabuncupınar SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Egemen Okboğa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erhun Okseven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egemen Okboğa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erhun Okseven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batur Erdoğan in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Egemen Okboğa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erhun Okseven. Egemen Okboğa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 62 minutes into the match, Çorum gençlik spor's goal looked a bit too open when Akay Çetinoz came free, but Erhun Okseven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Ersin Cengaver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabuncupınar SK's Olcay Orkun Bekiroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Akay Çetinoz came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sabuncupınar SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akay Çetinoz couldn't finish the play. Sabuncupınar SK played a much better game than Çorum gençlik spor and deserved their victory. The Çorum gençlik spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
