Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lemi Gümüşsoy started the match with the kick off. In the 19th minute, Dragons's İbrahim Ethem Ateş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Muzaffer Okyar. Muzaffer Okyar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, İbrahim Ethem Ateş took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Muzaffer Okyar to make any attempt to save it. Paşa Ali İsmihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahman Muhsin in the 28th minute of the match. If Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Can Fırıncı struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Muzaffer Okyar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragons. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabanözü's goalkeeper Muzaffer Okyar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İbrahim Ethem Ateş struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Muzaffer Okyar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragons. Muzaffer Okyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Can Fırıncı in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Can Fırıncı got free with Muzaffer Okyar in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sabanözü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Can Fırıncı made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons's zone, Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paşa Ali İsmihan came out of the goal and Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabanözü's goalkeeper Muzaffer Okyar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Dragons's Paşa Ali İsmihan got control of the ball when Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sabanözü's Muzaffer Okyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Can Fırıncı in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem Ateş came free, but Muzaffer Okyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Dragons's goalkeeper Paşa Ali İsmihan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hüseyin Cahit Hüsrev. In the 79thth minute of the game İbrahim Ethem Ateş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabanözü's Muzaffer Okyar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Dragons's Can Fırıncı made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muzaffer Okyar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Latif Akatay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Muzaffer Okyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Paşa Ali İsmihan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Dragons booed when Sabanözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gani Ünlüer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sabanözü defense, Can Fırıncı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muzaffer Okyar. The Sabanözü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muzaffer Okyar should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Dragons players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
