In the 14th minute, Halit Kadir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eralp Ersed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 18 minutes, Halit Kadir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocaköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halit Kadir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Danış Evvel made a great header on Kocaköy's corner, it was just that Gayrettepe SK's Eralp Ersed managed to reach the ball for a save. Eralp Ersed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halit Kadir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Halit Kadir was the one to do the kick off.
