After a defensive mix-up in Cildir's zone, Tekin Baransel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulvahit Kıvanç came out of the goal and Tekin Baransel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yaman Soyselçuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cildir. After a defensive mix-up in Salihli's zone, Ozan Şerefhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaman Soyselçuk came out of the goal and Ozan Şerefhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ozan Şerefhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taci Göçmen got free with Yaman Soyselçuk in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cildir's Taci Göçmen got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salihli were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cildir's much stronger midfield.
