Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5381, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sezen Mutlutekin took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Salihli's Yaman Soyselçuk got control of the ball when Erdi Ilgınlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tekin Baransel in the 8th minute of play forced 22 EYLÜL AC's goalkeeper Bahtiyar Türkeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 22 EYLÜL AC's zone, Özer Açıker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahtiyar Türkeş came out of the goal and Özer Açıker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yaman Soyselçuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezen Mutlutekin in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, 22 EYLÜL AC's goal looked a bit too open when Özer Açıker came free, but Bahtiyar Türkeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tekin Baransel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahtiyar Türkeş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sezen Mutlutekin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yaman Soyselçuk saved Salihli from getting behind. If Tekin Baransel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahtiyar Türkeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tekin Baransel in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Salihli getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gencay Taşkan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in 22 EYLÜL AC's zone, Tekin Baransel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahtiyar Türkeş came out of the goal and Tekin Baransel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdi Ilgınlı got free with Yaman Soyselçuk in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vacid Erdesir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sezen Mutlutekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaman Soyselçuk having to make a save. Özer Açıker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bahtiyar Türkeş came out and tried to block the shot, but Özer Açıker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Erdi Ilgınlı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yaman Soyselçuk was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Özer Açıker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdi Ilgınlı took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaman Soyselçuk. Yaman Soyselçuk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Sezen Mutlutekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaman Soyselçuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdi Ilgınlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Sezen Mutlutekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 22 EYLÜL AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sezen Mutlutekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Salihli's Ömür Kiner got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erdi Ilgınlı in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yaman Soyselçuk saved Salihli from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 22 EYLÜL AC had won after a very even match.
