Vacid Erdesir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rahman Akbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezen Mutlutekin in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Gani Baydan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gani Baydan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahtiyar Türkeş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gani Baydan in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Yahya Nazır could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Bahtiyar Türkeş however easily saved by the left post. In the 29th minute Samsat were awarded a corner. Başar Üstay went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Başar Üstay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bahtiyar Türkeş quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 31 minutes into the match, Samsat's goal looked a bit too open when Erdi Ilgınlı came free, but Rahman Akbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, 22 EYLÜL AC's goal looked a bit too open when Gani Baydan came free, but Bahtiyar Türkeş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samsat's Rahman Akbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezen Mutlutekin in the 34th minute of play. Gani Baydan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahtiyar Türkeş having to interfere. After 48 minutes, Arif Nihat Kağan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 22 EYLÜL AC and the Samsat players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 22 EYLÜL AC! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Samsat. Başar Üstay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bahtiyar Türkeş. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sezen Mutlutekin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Başar Üstay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When kaya Yamaç fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsat's protests and gave kaya Yamaç a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Samsat getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. kaya Yamaç hit a great ball. Bahtiyar Türkeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahya Nazır in the 63rd minute of the match. Yahya Nazır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute Gani Baydan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahtiyar Türkeş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yahya Nazır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bahtiyar Türkeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gani Baydan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, Samsat's Gani Baydan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahtiyar Türkeş was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rahman Akbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezen Mutlutekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahtiyar Türkeş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gani Baydan's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 88th match minute, 22 EYLÜL AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdi Ilgınlı to maneuver through the defense. Gani Baydan might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bahtiyar Türkeş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gani Baydan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 98 played minutes 22 EYLÜL AC got a freekick which was hit by Vacid Erdesir. In the 99th minute of the match Başar Üstay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bahtiyar Türkeş skillfully saved the ball. Samsat's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
