Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cevat Kutlay started the match with the kick off. Nihat İlham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Vacid Korhan made a huge save. Detroit FC's Vacid Korhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevat Kutlay in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Detroit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cevat Kutlay came free, but Vacid Korhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cevat Kutlay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vacid Korhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şükrü Gerdaneri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Öztürk Turbay took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Vacid Korhan to make any attempt to save it. Vacid Korhan made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Enginalp Soytekin sent off a good shot on target. Cevat Kutlay scored 4-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Korhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vacid Korhan made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Nihat İlham sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the game, one of Detroit FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

Vacid Korhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Öztürk Turbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ahmet Hasan Ünzil scored 7-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Korhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Detroit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Turbay came free, but Vacid Korhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vacid Korhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Sakaryaspor's Öztürk Turbay got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Abdulmelik Yaşer came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Detroit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulmelik Yaşer couldn't finish the play. Vacid Korhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cevat Kutlay went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Detroit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Menderes Selil came free, but Vacid Korhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hasan Ünzil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Vacid Korhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vacid Korhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevat Kutlay in the 84th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Enginalp Soytekin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Vacid Korhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdulmelik Yaşer hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sakaryaspor fully deserved thier win.
