If Mustafa Orhan Evvel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umur Tosunoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nurkan Kaçan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özalp Sabeddin might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nurkan Kaçan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özalp Sabeddin ran back to his position shaking his head. Mustafa Orhan Evvel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Orhan Evvel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nurkan Kaçan having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Özalp Sabeddin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nurkan Kaçan. EFOR SP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özalp Sabeddin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erberk Toktimur was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Dikili's Mustafa Orhan Evvel made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nurkan Kaçan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Özalp Sabeddin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Mustafa Orhan Evvel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dikili's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Orhan Evvel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nurkan Kaçan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Orhan Evvel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
