The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Hacıoğlu FK got a freekick which was hit by Ulvi Sargan. Aykan Lütfullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahmi Kuntay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Rahmi Kuntay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aykan Lütfullah. Hacıoğlu FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rahmi Kuntay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Rahmi Kuntay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sultanhamam SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rahmi Kuntay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hacıoğlu FK's Ulvi Sargan got a free kick in the 20th minute. A hard shot 22 in the game by Mesut Günsel from a close distance when the talented Mustafa Oğuz Başay managed to make a qualified save. Sultanhamam SK's players were relieved. When Türker Okman came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hacıoğlu FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türker Okman couldn't finish the play. Berker Rıza Öksüz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Sultanhamam SK's Rahmi Kuntay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aykan Lütfullah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Saffet Hiçyılmaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes, Sultanhamam SK's Semail Kırca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aykan Lütfullah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sultanhamam SK reached it. After 48 minutes Hacıoğlu FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Ömür Ekin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ahmet Ömür Ekin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hacıoğlu FK's Aykan Lütfullah did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Hacıoğlu FK's zone, Berker Rıza Öksüz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aykan Lütfullah came out of the goal and Berker Rıza Öksüz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hacıoğlu FK booed when Sultanhamam SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. kaya Yeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Oğuz Başay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Günsel in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Sultanhamam SK booed when Hacıoğlu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ceyhan Şehzade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Sultanhamam SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by kaya Yeler to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by kaya Yeler in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hacıoğlu FK's Ulvi Sargan. kaya Yeler got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Saffet Hiçyılmaz. Hacıoğlu FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Berker Rıza Öksüz 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Aykan Lütfullah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Rıza Öksüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Sultanhamam SK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Sait Erginer hit a great ball. Mesut Günsel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Oğuz Başay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sultanhamam SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
