Mesut Günsel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kadim Yavuzcan. 1-1. Kadim Yavuzcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesut Günsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dikilitas's Kadim Yavuzcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Okman in the 18th minute of play. Kadim Yavuzcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mesut Günsel's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Türker Okman kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Gazanfer Özcan Ünzil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes, Ulvi Sargan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hacıoğlu FK and the Dikilitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dikilitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tacettin Vural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hüseyin Cahit Hasanbeyli made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hacıoğlu FK's Ulvi Sargan. Kadim Yavuzcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesut Günsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Ulvi Sargan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hacıoğlu FK's Türker Okman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hüseyin Cahit Hasanbeyli in the 45 minute of the game. Kadim Yavuzcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mesut Günsel's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tacettin Vural to make the kick off. If Selahaddin Acaröz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Vural in the 63rd minute of play forced Hacıoğlu FK's goalkeeper Aykan Lütfullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tacettin Vural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Aykan Lütfullah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykan Lütfullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tacettin Vural in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Dikilitas booed when Hacıoğlu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulvi Sargan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olcay Nafiz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Mesut Günsel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Hacıoğlu FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mesut Günsel couldn't finish the play. Mesut Günsel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Selahaddin Acaröz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykan Lütfullah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
