Thanks to some nice moves Yakup Ülkenur could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Taha Tandoruk however easily saved by the left post. Hakkı Devrim Ersezer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit Kayra in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ahmet Harun Batüralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep27's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Harun Batüralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Devrim Ersezer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in İyonyalılar's zone, Müfit Kayra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakkı Devrim Ersezer came out of the goal and Müfit Kayra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taha Tandoruk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yakup Ülkenur went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Gaziantep27 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceyhan Keskiner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Harun Batüralp struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Hakkı Devrim Ersezer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaziantep27. If Yakup Ülkenur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes İyonyalılar got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Tanırcan. With a little luck, İyonyalılar's Hakkı Devrim Ersezer got control of the ball when Müfit Kayra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celalettin Erkılınç's late challenge caught a İyonyalılar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celalettin Erkılınç helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Gaziantep27 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin Erkılınç to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Yakup Ülkenur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taha Tandoruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 73 minutes, Levent Ünan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaziantep27 and the İyonyalılar players grew even worse after the yellow card. 75 minutes into the match, İyonyalılar's Ceyhan Keskiner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taha Tandoruk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haydar Öğün kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Müfit Kayra made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Devrim Ersezer. İyonyalılar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yakup Ülkenur during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Yakup Ülkenur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
