Aşık Çakıroğlu started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ünal Ümran during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Gökceada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Ümran to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bahadır Balkar got free with Sertaç Kamil in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gencer Salih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertaç Kamil having to make a save. In the 11th minute Gencer Salih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertaç Kamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Erzincan Tercan Spor's Aşık Çakıroğlu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sertaç Kamil was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Erzincan Tercan Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Süleyman Sururi came free, but Gencay Ülken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gencer Salih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sertaç Kamil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gencer Salih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 36 played minutes Erzincan Tercan Spor got a freekick which was hit by Aşık Çakıroğlu. Sertaç Kamil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gencer Salih showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gencer Salih reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sertaç Kamil. The goal made the score 4-0. 45 minutes into the match, Aşık Çakıroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertaç Kamil. Gökceada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aşık Çakıroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Gökceada's Nazil Durhal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Güneri Cihannur in the 52 minute of the game. Bahadır Balkar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Erzincan Tercan Spor's goalkeeper Gencay Ülken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Süleyman Sururi. Adil Muharrem took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sertaç Kamil. Sertaç Kamil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 67th minute, Gencer Salih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sertaç Kamil was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gökceada's zone, Gencer Salih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sertaç Kamil came out of the goal and Gencer Salih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sertaç Kamil came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Erzincan Tercan Spor's Gencer Salih. But to his dismay, Gencer Salih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 75 minutes, Aşık Çakıroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzincan Tercan Spor and the Gökceada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aşık Çakıroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Erzincan Tercan Spor's Aşık Çakıroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gökceada defense, Aşık Çakıroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sertaç Kamil. The Gökceada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertaç Kamil should have stopped the shot. Erzincan Tercan Spor's Gencer Salih got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olgun Çakman charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olgun Çakman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erzincan Tercan Spor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
