Unix FC's players were relieved. 6 minutes into the match, Maltepe JK's goal looked a bit too open when Aşkın Tekinay came free, but Buğra Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Maltepe JK got a freekick which was hit by Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu. 10 minutes into the match, Unix FC's Tuncay Cevahir broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Buğra Sanih came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Unix FC's Aşkın Tekinay. But to his dismay, Aşkın Tekinay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Aşkın Tekinay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buğra Sanih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kubat Kaveloğlu in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sinan Pozan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sinan Pozan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buğra Sanih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Maltepe JK's goal looked a bit too open when Aşkın Tekinay came free, but Buğra Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Yetik hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Buğra Sanih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aşkın Tekinay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Göktürk Özerol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğur Köker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Varol Başbuğoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uğur Köker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göktürk Özerol's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Aşkın Tekinay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Maltepe JK defense, Sinan Pozan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buğra Sanih. The Maltepe JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buğra Sanih should have stopped the shot. If Aşkın Tekinay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The Maltepe JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Varol Başbuğoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uğur Köker having to interfere. Göktürk Özerol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
