Spectators: 6422 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Resulhan Şah got the match started through his kick off. Reşat Cumhur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reşat Cumhurs short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Buğra Sanih to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 11 played minutes Maltepe JK got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Yetik. Varol Başbuğoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tayfun Yazgı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kandemir Özguc's late challenge caught a Reşadiyespor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kandemir Özguc helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Varol Başbuğoğlu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayfun Yazgı saved Reşadiyespor from getting behind. Tayfun Yazgı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Varol Başbuğoğlu in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Varol Başbuğoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tayfun Yazgı. Reşadiyespor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Varol Başbuğoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Resulhan Şah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buğra Sanih having to interfere. A collision led to Maltepe JK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Göktürk Özerol hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göktürk Özerol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Göktürk Özerol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maltepe JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göktürk Özerol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Göktürk Özerol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Varol Başbuğoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayfun Yazgı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Varol Başbuğoğlu in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, Maltepe JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Reşadiyespor's Hızır Uzlet couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maltepe JK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktürk Özerol in the 73rd minute of play forced Reşadiyespor's goalkeeper Tayfun Yazgı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes, Reşadiyespor's Ahmet Baki Akbatu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Buğra Sanih came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Reşadiyespor reached it. Buğra Sanih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resulhan Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Göktürk Özerol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfun Yazgı having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Maltepe JK's Göktürk Özerol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayfun Yazgı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tayfun Yazgı was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Göktürk Özerol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 91 minute of play. Tayfun Yazgı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasan Yetik in the 98th minute. Maltepe JK played a much better game than Reşadiyespor and deserved their victory. The Reşadiyespor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
