Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atacan Özkutsal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kudret Atikoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Buğra Sanih made a huge save. Tuna Sanbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktürk Özerol in the 5th minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Varol Başbuğoğlu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Özgüzeldere's Tuna Sanbay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tuna Sanbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Özerol in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltepe JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Özgüzeldere the free kick. Buğra Sanih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Özkutsal in the 26th minute of play. Tuna Sanbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Özerol in the 33rd minute of play. Atacan Özkutsal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Buğra Sanih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 49 minutes, Bedri Oyum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Özgüzeldere and the Maltepe JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 49 played minutes Özgüzeldere got a freekick which was hit by Bedri Oyum.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göktürk Özerol to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Varol Başbuğoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maltepe JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Varol Başbuğoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göktürk Özerol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Atacan Özkutsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Göktürk Özerol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tuna Sanbay. The goal made the score 1-2. Göktürk Özerol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tuna Sanbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuna Sanbay made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Varol Başbuğoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Varol Başbuğoğlu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 82 minutes into the game, Orhun Tanaltan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Özgüzeldere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maltepe JK the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Özgüzeldere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhun Tanaltan to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Göktürk Özerol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuna Sanbay was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 90 minutes, Mustafa Ekrem Ayık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Özgüzeldere and the Maltepe JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maltepe JK booed when Özgüzeldere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ekrem Ayık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Varol Başbuğoğlu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-3 via right post in the game's 100th minute. Maltepe JK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maltepe JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
