Necmettin Hicran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Osman Tanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zülfikar Sabahaddin having to interfere. If Lütfü Ersalmış had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aşkın Cilasun was the one to do the kick off. Lütfü Ersalmış received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Necmettin Hicran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Turgutlu got a freekick which was hit by Olcay Orkun Diclehan. Zülfikar Sabahaddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşkın Cilasun in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lütfü Ersalmış in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necmettin Hicran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Feridun Uçanok fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turgutlu's protests and gave Feridun Uçanok a yellow card for diving instead. Feridun Uçanok hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rafettin Elçibey kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Necmettin Hicran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfü Ersalmış, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mucur's Necmettin Hicran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mucur from getting a goal against them. After 82 played minutes, Mucur's Mustafa Arif Mertkal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zülfikar Sabahaddin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mucur reached it. Necmettin Dirsehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Necmettin Hicran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfü Ersalmış in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Necmettin Dirsehan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turgutlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Necmettin Dirsehan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necmettin Hicran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Turgutlu booed when Mucur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mucur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turgutlu the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mucur's zone, Necmettin Dirsehan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necmettin Hicran came out of the goal and Necmettin Dirsehan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mucur were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Turgutlu for a fine match.
