Niksarspor's Müfit Tümer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Kemal Salman in the 30th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demiralp Ortanca was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Kudret Tibet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Ekrem Yengi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kudret Tibet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Ekrem Yengi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sorgun FK's Vahit Öztekin got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Hamza Uçanay came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Niksarspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamza Uçanay couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Namık Kemal Salman in the 76th minute of play forced Niksarspor's goalkeeper Müfit Tümer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Babür Hüryaşar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sorgun FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niksarspor the free kick. A collision led to Sorgun FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play.
